rebuilding curves and wedge / hinge

Hello All,

Can anybody please tell me how you would go about rebuilding a curve to a different number of spans?

Also, could anybody tell me if it's possible to a Maya type wedge or a Max type hinge in XSI. I can't seem to be able to do this and I don't think it exists but if anybody could suggest an alternative or maybe even a zcript I would be eternally grateful.

As you've probably guessed I'm moving from Maya to XSI and I really do like it but I'm just missing some tools from Maya such as the rebuilding curves and wedge tool. Other than the ones I've mentioned I'm not missing too much else - I'm already finding the +Alt Navigation a bit strange when I go back to Maya occasionally.

Thanks & Regards!

Fit on curve seems to rebuild the curve with a different no' of spans. I'm still at a loss as to how to ahieve the wedge / hinge though?
