RETAIL SPOTS - Air Force 25 Launch

Hey all,
I know these aren't "animations" in the traditional sense, but seeing as how there's no "Finished Work: Compositing/Effects" forum, this forum seemed the most appropriate. Also, If this post looks familiar, it's because I posted this a little while ago in the Compositing and Editing forum. I was just hoping to reach more people by posting in this forum, and hopefully get some more feedback on the pieces.

Anyway, I just finished work on 4 effects pieces created for Nike's launch of the Air Force 25.

The spots were done through the Brand Design Media department at Nike's world headquarters in Beaverton, OR. Myself and 2 other artists did the brunt of the effects work for these pieces (roughly 80 effects shots), and our art director also helped out with compositing as well. We completed the work in roughly 2 months.

The pieces feature NBA players Carlos Boozer, Amare Stoudemire, Al Harrington, Jermaine O'Neal, Emeka Okafor, and Nate Robinson. The players were filmed on a small green screen stage; we tracked the shots then created and composited in all the backgrounds. Be sure to check out the "breakdown" on the linked page to get a taste of where we started with the original footage, and how we got to the finished product.

Everyone that worked on these pieces was great and did a wonderful job. Don't forget to check out the full list of credits on the linked page.

As always, comments and critiques are more than welcome! Thanks all!

roto work...

Thanks Kickflipkid687

We did have to do a good bit of roto for the pieces. For a lot of it though we were able to just use the green screen from the stage the players were shot on. But yeah, as with most effects shoots, there were plenty of shots that still needed a good bit of roto work. Thankfully though, I didn't have to do any of it ha ha. The other two guys that worked on this spot did all the roto work for it.

Come on now.... I know someone has to have some feedback....

After all, how can we improve if we are not willing to give/recieve feeback to/from eachother?

looks like someone spelled 'o'neal' wrong ..... it looks professional, something I'd see during a nba commercial break.
