Bubble motion with particle flow

Hello everyone. I posted this in the general forum before noticing the Paricle Flow section!

Is there any way to achieve the bubble motion effect (available with Particle Array) with Particle Flow?

The problem is that I need the bubble motion but it is hard to control a PArray just using forces. I would rather be able to use Particle flow but i need bubble motion, any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Dogtown resident too, eh?

See my post in the 3dsmax section. Another alternative, if you have access, is Particle Flow Tools Box #3. With a little bit of know-how you could make a Wobble operator that just runs a simple sine wave through particle velocity.

Thanks for the help. Don't have Particle Flow Tools Box #3 unfortunatly.

Perhaps it's the sort of movement that could be scripted in MaxScript, alhough I wonder how in depth it would get. Seems like a real shame they didn't add any movement variation in P Flow.

Why not just offset the pivot of your particles and add a spin?
Depends on what you are making but for simple bubbles it works fine.
I think this solution is even in the max reference somewhere.
Best regards
