Help! Distribute particles over animated volume

Hello there!

I have a slight PFlow problem here and I hope you experts can help me out:

I want to have my Flow travel through this object, always evenly distributed along its thickness. The goal is to also have the "wave" travel from left to right and the
Particles should still distribute evenly. I thought i might do the trick with a deflector and with Keep apart, but it doesn`t work, the Particles do not distribute down again.
Does anyone have an idea how I might solve this problem?

sounds like lock/bond from the toolbox#1 is the weapon of choice here! if you don´t have it jet download a demo at www.orbaz.com.

but have a look at the attachment: non-toolbox approach.

Thanks a Lot. Unfortunately, what I really want to do ist to have the particles not only distribute ober the Surface but the whole volume.


Still, I`ll have a look at your files as soon as I get home!

well then break the effect into two parts. ground and wall...use the same technique as for the ground and you should be done

it reveals from day to day that i have to buy box#3

i kinda misinterpreted the problem :(

great solution and a million times better then my non-box approach

Hey Oleg I'm going to assume you'll know. How is particle leakage in Max 9 now using UOmniflect and animated meshes? This seems like a great solution for arterial and vein modeling. Are there operators in the new toolbox to combat the leakage?

Edit: Is leakage even an issue using this method?

The method above does NOT use Collision and/or Keep Apart operators. It's just a custom data operator from Box#3. It can be adjusted to deal with animated arterial/vein modeling. Since there is no collision operator for animated meshes then there is no particle leakage.
