Me and my team have been working hard for the last few months to get this mod finished and we’re now at roughly 50-60%. It may be a rather odd request, looking for a AoE3-texturer here, which uses mostly 64x64 textures. But I hope atleast a decent and enthousiastic texturer will reply. We already have a texturer and I’ve done some texturing myself, but we’d like to speed up the process a bit.
Your job will most probably be the creation of the renowned leaders of the Crusades, people like Salah al-Din and Richard Lionheart, but also those that’re less known like Raymond of Toulouse and Al-Kamil. Knowledge about AoE3 modding would be nice but is certainly not a must. Modding AoE3 is relativly simple, atleast for this part and I can supply you with most of the codes so you’ll only have to paint the texture and create a normal map for it (can just be done with a PS-plugin). We’re all just enthousiasts who love history and like to mod AoE3, so as much as I’d like to, I can’t offer you any payment. Anyway, since the textures are only 64x64 (some are also 128x128) they don’t have much detail so your skills don’t have to be top-class. Since you’ll be left with quite a lot of freedom to paint the textures how you want them, a more important aspect will be creativity and originality. Can you create original looking units that look historical correct, then this might be something for you!
