Dominance War II: seven

These ancient creatures live in the dense breathing planet of Areaelemac in the seventh charted solar system of the cgsociety sector. They are an ever adapting race. Their tentacles allow them to move around quite easily on their home planet. Fueled by their tenacity to seek other territories they have adapted their technology to allow them to navigate most planets quickly and efficiently. Their sight is based on many sensors on the top of their head. Most confuse these with eyes but they are not. They work like extra sensory feelers that can judge the distance between them and an object around them. The helmets they wear boost this ability making them extra perceptive and worthy adversaries against their enemies. The stilts they walk on are designed to allow them to run three times as fast as they normally can. Their weapons can only be operated by tactical bearing Areaelmacs due to its unique design and center mounted trigger. These creatures operate in cells and are very deadly groups. They have been known to destroy civilizations in numbers as little as thirty units.

This is General Auel. Victory is not a question to him, just a matter of time.

Tonights progress.

Currently sitting at 2232 triangles, obviously there's room for more ! Comments and crits welcome.

love those concepts, especially those arms! modelling looks like it's off to a good start too ; )

Sitting at 5071 triangles, I feel he's on his way. There are a couple things I may do with the face but other than that he's about 95% ready for uv mapping.

However, I very much want some constructive crits. Thank you to everyone who enjoys my concept. Let me know what I can do to make it the best possible.
