P-40 Warhawk - Pacific War

Hi guys!

This is my lastest personal work.

This is a presentation of the Curtiss P-40. I based in a short sequence of the film "Battle of Britain". I made the background with several images, the clouds were generate with Maya´s particles and fluids and the P-40 was generate with 3DMax. I used Maya to texture the P-40, animation and render. To illuminate this scene I used a HDRI image and directional light. And I rendered with FinalRender to Maya. The postprocesing was generate in Combustion and with Sapphire plugin.
Special thanks to Fernando Román for the audio. Thanks!

I hope yoiu like it!

I recommended you show this video in Full-Screen with Sound.

Congratulations! This work is impressive. The only problem that I see it, is that becomes too shortly. You are improving in every work that you do.

i really like this piece....i know how difficult maya fluids can be...especially with regards to rendering and art direction.

I agree, id like to see more, and some more animation...

id also like to see more of the ground, so we have frame of reference for speed. Or you could achieve this be having some/more clouds fly by the lens...anything that is more stationary so we can see how fast they are moving.

Wow, man, good work.
Seems realistic, I like the compose that you have made. It's really cool.
The only thing that I don't like, but it's a detail, It's the animation of the second P-40 when stop near the first P-40 .
Anyway it's a good work, man. I like the "old documental" style.
Five Stars dude.

This work is just great !

It has a cool cinematic feeling to it.
I agree with Duthctilt in that a couple of clouds passing quickly could improve the feeling of speed for this piece.

Great job.

JK.
