Victory Gal_Spitfire, Glen Angus (2D)

Title: Victory Gal_Spitfire
Name: Glen Angus
Country: USA
Software: Photoshop

With the Battle of Britain being one of the most pivitol air battles of WW2 -I felt I had to represent the British Spitfire.
(with plans of a BF 109 fighter already in the works)
As well as from popular demand.

I wanted to tie in the celtic faeirie belief by having the moth wings on this particular Victory Gal, and then have their markings echo that of the RAF.

plumetting to it's doom is a Heinkel HE 111 German bomber.

Done entirely in Photoshop - The lingerie is a conglomeration of various styled vintage pieces from that era. I wanted the tones of this one to be somewhat grey and muted to better convey the wet and foggy climate.

Fanstastic work. To me is a serious candidate for front page. 5 stars for you!

Awesome work.... as usual. Will you stick to planes and beauties? or are you gonna go on to tanks and ships? 5*

As usual, I am stunned by your abilities. The color pallet and brush strokes are perfect. It is almost flawless, in fact I would give it 10 stars the way it is, but I have a few suggestions. The white of her eye seems extra bright, maybe you made it that way intentionally or maybe it is just my monitor. Her index and middle fingers on her left hand seem a bit odd, maybe too pointed or something. The tire on the underside of the airplane seems a bit flat and could use some shadows or something, or is it supposed to look painted on? Her legs seem a bit thick below the knees, but maybe it is just the angle or perspective. I am no expert, and I think it is fine just the way it is, but those were the only things I could find to critique. Keep them coming, someday I will buy prints of the whole series.

WOW! The angle alone amazes me, this is truly the best I've seen in this series of works you've done 5* in my book too.

uh oh

This one should be on the front page. The only even remote crit I can give is that I would expect her body to be more stretched, she looks somewhat relaxed exp in the legs. It looks great as is, just given the angle and the dynamics of the rest of the scene it might have improved things.

5 stars, waiting for the plug
