Caleb Rightnowar Demoreel and Mousetrap

My name is Caleb Rightnowar and I just graduated from Collins College. I am currently looking for work as a 3d modeler.

You can download my Demo Reel and the Mousetrap breakdown.
The Mousetrap was done in Maya. It was animated by using dynamics and After Effects for compositing. You need the lastest quicktime to view both files which is H264.

Here is the direct link for my Demo Reel - 23.3 mb

Here is the direct link for the Mousetrap Breakdown. - 15.2 mb

Check out my website for more work.

Wink Here is my opinion

I like the mousetrap. It's cool concept and the compositing is believable. But I think you can make the presentation more interesting than just a still camera. May be some close up shot of the trap working would be fun to watch!

You done lots of work in texturing the models. By the way, to be honest, I think it's kinda too much. Especially the skin texture of the guy, I prefer small sudden detail coz right now the detail on his cloth and shoe already attract my eye.

I think you have skills in modelling and you do it quite fast. But the design and the color is a little bit off. Just keep it up!
