Coductor photographed. composition 01, Morales Axel (3D)

Title: Coductor photographed. composition 01
Name: Morales Axel
Country: France
Software: Maya, mental ray

The purpose was to do a realism portrait .
Completely made in maya and composed in photoshop, no Z-brush. I used a documentation (sculpture) to begin the head and after I decided to make a conductor .
It was an exercice of my school ( supinfocom), the subject was to do an anonimous person taked on photo.
He is bald because I didn't have enough time to do the hair.
He is not as good as I wanted, but it was my first head modeling and there was a deadline to finish the subject.
But in this project, I have learnt a lot of thing and when the time will come ( and I will have time ), I certainly will do better.
There are 2 compositions :
one day light
one clair-obscur
Rendering on mental ray.

Great expression! Maybe the shader of skin can be better... it is too uniform! Although the eyes are dreamy they lack that sparkle of life.
