Graduation short film "The Elegie"

Hi everybody,

This is my graduation short film. It's 2 minutes long (excluding the ending credits which I'm gonna cut a little bit). The idea was a tragic extract from Ovid's well known mythology, Pygmalion & Galatea. I've been working on this for about 4 months and nobody outside of school have seen it yet.

All the modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, lighting, compositing, editing are done by me.
Parts of character design and concept design credit goes to Ramin Rahimi.
The music "Waltz 2" of "Suite of Variety stage orchestra" is from the Russian composer, Dmitri Shostakovich (1906-1975).

The software used are Maya, Combustion, Photoshop & Premiere. And it's rendered with Maya software.

anyway, all feedbacks are welcome.

I liked the whole concept. You could make the animation more alive, no matter if the modelings are not done Pixary
Overall, I’d say “good job” I’m waiting for your next Animation.
