FX: have you got a lighter?

Hi,

I am a bit late for the FX war but I'd like to show you my (non) entry.
I have tried to illuminate the face according to the dancing light but shadows are not still well positionated.

Made with After Effect, 3DSMax8 and Aura plugin<---love it

Hope you like it.

hey, thats nice. the flames are little to big.

the lighning of the face is not bad. but when you move your hand in front of the face, the left side should also be lighten. also a bit more flickering would be cool i think.
anyways, it's a good start. keep it up!

Thx Captain!
I notice all your critices. I don't think I am going to improve it but next time I will know what to do on stage to make the post prod easier: a flash light flicking on his face to push out the shadows on eyes area.

Maybe you could put a light in your hand that would interact with your face? It looks cool the way it is though.
