Altitude and slope-dependant ecosystem populations?
I am tearing my hair out, because I'm trying to do something I assume is very easy to do, but I can't seem to find a way to do it.
I want to create an ecosystem forest that gets more and more sparse the higher the altitude of the terrain, and the same when slopes get steeper. I've tried using a greyscale bitmap of the terrain to drive the variable density, I've tried playing with function nodes, read the manual, etc. but to no avail. So I was wondering if there is anyone who could explain to me how to do it. |
