Where is my "Render UVW Template" option

Hello dear friends
I am using 3Ds MAX 8. I know in the 8th version there is a built in UV template exporter called "Render UVW Template" in the UVW Unwrap modifier. but I can't find it in the UVW Unwrap > EDIT > TOOL menu!! I mean it is not there! I think there might be a problem with the plugin. but is there any solution for it ?

thank you very much

Had this very same problem last year when it was released. It's most likely because you loaded a custon UI from a previous version of Max.

I suggest you load a default UI, and then customise it (I think you can use previous UI afterwards but I can't remember the exact work-around to keep the Render UV Tool in place).

Hope that helps you out.

You could always just download Good Old "Texporter" Thats what you had to use before max 8 came along, and it is really the exact same thing as Render Uv. Just search the net for Texporter, its free too. Too bad Autodesk basically stole this guys program, and didnt give him any credit for it either. Hope that helped.

Personally I prefer texporter as well.

You could always just do a screen grab of you UVW window and then use that.
