Smile clown concept art

Nice colors, but the blending is lacking. You seem to be using soft brushes, which I don't recommend for skin shading. Use a sharper-edged brush and draw with low pen pressure (or low opacity if you're using a mouse). You can get much smoother blending this way. Also, it looks like he has some odd folds on his cheecks where the darker shadow crosses over the lighter shadow into the midtone. Also, try setting the lower lip back a bit, unless it is your plan to have it stick out.
