shake scripting - extract dpx header

Does anyone know how i'd go about extracting header information from dpx files so that I can print this through a text node? I would like to be able to see all the metadata, including TC, keycode, film stock etc.... or even better, extract the specific fields that I specify.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Justin
