I like the torso-belts. Has a nice Brom-feel to it. Will be interesting to see where you take this image
![]() The mask (?) looks a little lopsided though. Was that intentional? You're not cutting off the hands/feet, are you? |

hiiri,
thanks for the response! but no, i won't be cutting the feet or hands off. it'll be a full body image with widespread wings. =D and about the mask, i don't quite know what you mean by it being lopsided. perhaps there seems to be more material on the left cheek? |

i like your texture of the straps, it works really well. i'm not usually one to comment on symettry, but i think the yellow spots on the shoulder straps should be the same size. it doesnt really make sense for them not be. i'm looking forward to the finished product!

Just voicing my thoughts: You've been using allot of black to sketchily outline the character and his accessories, which is fine, as that may be the style you are searching for. It really emphasizes the sort of griminess and grotesqueness of the insect character. One thing, however, is that your drawing seems flat, and that may be of partial result of the massive usage of black in your drawings. Maybe reinforcing the lightsource will make it stand out a bit more?
That's just my opinion, but I really enjoy the character design. ^__^ |
