Telling Particles to Die upon Deflector Event

So I've been working on this firework/explosion thing in TP and I've done it a couple of times, but never saved it. So I'm workin on it from scratch and Im about 90% of the way done. There are 3 emitters technically.

1. The Firebal
2. the Smoke trailing the fireball
3. The dust when they hit the ground object.

I can't for the life of me figure out hot to kill the fireball particles when they hit the PDeflector. How? Can I do this? I remember it having to do with the Event, but I can't figure it out.

plug the "event" output of your pdeflector to the pdie nodes "on" input.
