connect a camera output to a lens shader?

is there a way to plug a camera image output like you'd have on a materialshader.out into something? just like plugging a lambert.outcolor into a lambert2.color.
for example i was playing with plugging camera1.XXX (that's what i'm trying to find out, like camera1.out if it existed) into ramp.v and the ramp.outalpha into a lens exposure shader.
so you can adjust exposure changes based on pixel 32bit pixel values u get from the rendered image.
just one example of what can be done.
