Alley matte

Hey wow, how cool there is a matte painting thread now. Thanks for making it happen!
Here is a matte that (I think) I am almost done with. Any critiques or comments would be apreciated.

thanks

Beautiful piece of work. Odd that there's no comments. I can't see the light which is casting the pool above the door, and there's something odd about the sky, it seems a little compressed for the shot, which makes it seem flat. Perhaps if you flip it? Rendering from head height might make it more dynamic as well.

But, all over...lovely.

Looks good!

I don't have any complaints really. If you wanted to be picky though:

1. the green spill onto the walls seems a bit much
2. the 'crack' on the right of the building closest to the 'eye' seems rather thin for a wall

I got nothing else dude, good stuff!!

Thanks guys,

> Big Sky, Yeah I agree, the sky is off in color and how compressed it looks, turns out it wasn't needed for the final camera move.
> pixade, Yep, the crack isn't really a crack it is just an area that I didn't need to paint (lazy) since it didn't show up in the final.
Here is the final camera move: http://www.creativespot.org/post/da...0300_Comp_1.mov

Thanks again,
Kevin
