when i read hobbit my life has change.
it was 4 years ago, seens that moment my obssesion was grow and grow.
finaly I have plan. and this is a first object from Tolkien's world.
here on CG talk :)
this broch is modeled in maya.
I didnt use Zbrush.
textures in photoshop

Yeah, really realistic!

Great dirt shading and materials overall.
There is really nice spectral coloring in those dirty parts.
How is that velvet done? Even shadows are working perfectly
with it - with those little hairs.

Very impressive!

As i said previously, jewel is great, and the fabric is simply perfect, and i MEAN it.

This my friend is absolutely stunnign work...I only hope I can get this level of texturing an dlighting detail with my compass rose when I go for final'm thoroughly impressed.
Our careless feet leaving trails, never minding the fragile dirt we all end in.
