Concept Sketch: The Bridge

Me playing around with atmosphere and basic forms--this is usually the most concepting I do, so next should be line art...urgh, that's the worst part of the whole process.

Anyway, in case you can't interpret my blobs, there is a bridge dissappearing into a vast, space, that will need to be filled while remaining vast and seemingly 'empty', and there's a girl getting ready to get on the bridge. The bird-shaped blob is her guide up to this point, a crow or raven, haven't quite decided yet.

Still playing around with ideas. I'm sick, and on spring break, so expect more soon.

Concept Sketch: Calling All Angels

Okay. Now this is absolutely the last concept. I swear it. You all have my full permission to laugh when I eat my words, but I hope you won't have to. From my writing WIP, my two main character. The adultish person, at this point only a 'big' person, is Matilda, half...well, I can't tell you, because that might spoil the novel if I ever get it published. Maybe. Not sure yet. The little one is Catherine, better known as Cassie, Matilda's self-inflicted plague/hellion/charge (actually rather ironic to describe her as a hellion *hint hint*) around whom the conflict centers. I love this novel, I hope I'll love the image. Lineart coming up in another few seconds.
