Ok, I haven't posted much I know. But I'm trying a pinup style painting now, which is sorta kinda up this alley.

Anybody have an idea on the left arm of her? And the rest...

Really cool, jmB! I like the floating quality about the piece. Maybe draw a pair of tensed hands and slightly enlarge her left forearm. Nice work! What was the impetus?

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

Heheheh, spring I think... ... everything's growing and you know, the sun and everything.

Don't you think the upper left arm is looking off? I wrestled with it very long, couldn't get it right both in poise and anatomy.

jmB,

I think it will help once you get the hands roughed in...don't be afraid of them, I would even suggest looking at your own hands for rough reference.

If you need help at that point, I'm happy to lend a hand.

Cheers,

~Rebeccak

lol, okies... it's just a lot easier for me to do something as complex as hands when the rest works well towards it. But, getting on it.

Thanks!

lmao!

easy, man! all shall be well

just wanted to say that I love the dark subued values - makes her look like being in a cool darkened room on a summer day with a little bit of light streaming in somewhere.... hmmm, maybe I am a spring victim, too...hehe...

And, yea, don't be afraid of the hands. In fact they will define what this piece is all about won't they?

Yeah, subtle and good point. I take it you mean tactile sensation and human contact.

Thanks.

Ok, getting to the hand now, bounce light's particularly bothering me considering you can't read the hand as well, maybe I'll cheat my way...

That's one...

Oh, and here's a close, the wrinkles need to be tuned, but it's an overall. Can't get stuck on it now... hehe
