Concept Sketch: Layoutsketch

Just the fundamental layout, details will come later.

Warky is modeled! I have to unwrap him and uv texture him still. The story of Warky's travels, is that Warky's house is in shambles and to fix it he needs to search for the uncommon materials needed to repair it.

your model set me laughing

He he. That's good. I'm thinking of animating him too, for another project. Lots of soft body jiggling.

hahaha. This colour is so funny and the character too. Good luck

Cute little fella!

Shading (Textured and lit): Tweaking hi res

A larger render to see the basic shader and texture. I improved lighting using Pale yellow, pale green and pale blue area lights. Basic mesh has been tweaked some in the arm area as well as the eyelid area. I'm not sure if I should apply the mirror modifier yet and start adding some assymetry or keep it on until later.

Btw thanks for the responses 3d explorer, ziriguidium and kostra!

Modeling: Layout

A basic layout. I need to brainstorm more objects that are smaller than grass, and what material the shack will be made of. I 'm think I will have a giant hole in the roof to indicate the reason for his journey.

Thanks Kattkieru!

Modeling: 3d Turnaround Warky!

Some minor mesh tweeks, managed to figure out how to use panarama. I may consider using this for the final render. I hope to have a new sketch up later. I think I have an idea for pet.

Nice concept and a cute character! Kinda reminds me of a shaven gremlin !

Cool to see another Blender entry in the challenge too! Keep it up!
