Weird AE tip

This one leaves me wondering what the hell Adobe was thinking, but AE 5.5 has a hidden menu item.

<CTRL><SHIFT> click your edit/preferences/general menu. Release the ctrlshift and close the general prefs window. Now open up the edit/preferences menu tree again, and there will be a new item at the bottom of the list.

It has controls to delete the frame cache after a user-specified number of frames has been rendered (to speed rendering) plus a few others...

yes the old "schecret" ..

btw, just hold shift as you click Edit>Preferences>General

my guess is that the feature is unsupported, ie not bugfree, but still necessary under certain conditions, sort of an easter-egg feature
