Concept Sketch: concept1

Hi, this is my first idea, its like an adventurer flying on the back of a giant eagle. Im thinking of placing either a castle in the back or like a cave of death. so what do you guys think?

I thought of another idea, its a little different but its similar, except in this one there will be more in the background than just a few birds. Ill have the lineart done as soon as i can. What do you guys think?

Hey man,
Thanks for dropping by me thread. Glad you can join the challenge.

I like the first composition. The one with the birds. You can definately push the perspective there, plus it has a nice sense of journey to it. So i would play around with that more.

goodluck and will be checking again.

the sketches are lookin good LhongJohn. i think both ideas have potential. i'd like to see you make some more sketches, just to flesh things out a bit more, still a long way to go till lthe deadline so i wouldn't finalize things just yet. i agree with Arc80 on pushing the perspective on both ideas. now that i think of it, i think your bird piece is stronger than the other one. wouldn't hurt to come up with more ideas and sketches though. good luck man! have fun with this challenge!

thanks for the reply guys, i see what you guys are saying. Im kinda swamped with essays and assignments and stuff, who's ever heard of an econ essay? I mean really? never mind that. Ill try to post more complete sketches from now on, instead of just bits and pieces of one. thanks again.
