Concept Sketch: fish guide

My idea is this, a fish group starting a long journey, they are leading by a man of the under sea, the problem, that man is not sure to go, but he must, so, he is saying good bye to his friends, his face is not very pleasent about the situation.
I want to create the idea of movement, many fishes in a hurry, there will be more characters in this scene, for know, there is only two and some fishes.

I want to use the image at the right of the scene, I don't know why, but I feel it has to be there (Sorry about my English)

Smile Thank´s Cyberon

It will be a hard work, but I think I can do it, thank´s for the reply, in fact, you are the first one that give me a reply in this community, I´m very happy about that.

Will you participate in the contest?, I really want to see your work over here, Your image of the panda destroying Tokio is a very good idea, I really like it and my work partner Anabel likes it too.

Thank´s again
Dewa mata (I think it means see you later)

Concept Sketch: fish guide

I worked a little more with the ocean and incorporated some elements, this is one of the fishes that I want to use in my image.

I change my mind about a group of fishes in a hurry, I think it could be more interesting the image of three or four fishes with a heavy objet in their stomaches, the journey will be very hard for them and their guides, and it will be slow, but that´s alright, the ocean is misterious and calm, everythink can happen there

Concept Sketch: fish guide

I worked with more elements, I think this is my final sketch, now, I start to work with the elements one by one, the next days I´m going to work with the image of the girl and the big fish, I have to create a good wet dress for her and good efects in the skin of the fish.

very cool Idea, it's very original.

I will suggest that you move the placement of the conch shell away from the fish's nose it is very distracting and results in poor composition. just move it down a bit so they don't overlap. the only time you want to overlap things like that is if you are using heavy contrast. putting dark over light creates visual interest but in this case it's just too busy and takes away from the cool drawing of the fish. my only other comment is that you should put something waaayyyy of in the distance very hazy to add some depth. maybe a whale or a sunken city with absolutley no detail just a blue silhouette.
keep up the good work.
