Animating a Dog Walk...

I'm trying my first quadriped animation using a dog character I've modeled. I'm having real issues with how the legs are supposed to move. As of now I have both the front and back Left side legs moving and then alternating with the right side front and back. For some reason this just looks too symetrical. Does anyone know where I can find good reference online for 4-legged animal walk cycles? Prefereably videos of actual animals and preferably dogs.

having done some quadropeds myself the last few days, here are a few resources that might be of use(was for me anyway)

browse those sites, or search for muybridge, a lot of his work can be found on the www, or if you have the money bye a few of his books,
