AE and Fusion

Hi all, I would like to know what the differentiate between After Effect and Digital Fusion(or DXF+)?
I mean the cost are (huge) between them, so I would like to know it before decide to purchase which... are they anything to do with 8bit or 16bit?? Thanks

Check the site of adobe and eyeon. The Fusion has as advantages to be node based ( for some it is a great difference/advantage) , 32 bits floating point, true 3d compositing, 3d particles and macros. The DFX support only bit dephts of 8/16bits, donīt create macros for example
