Reuse attachments

I have multiple images which I used multiple times, which is not that much of a problem, but I'm a control freak and I like everything neat... I wished we could use images we allready uploaded, multiple times... datatransfer on those will be the same as with multiple instances, but it will save on storage.

*Edit* I would also be happy if we could have an [img] tag that can use the urls from the image, now, the img tag is removed and a url tag is added automatically

Right click on an attachment you previously made, and copy the url... now insert it into another post using the (non-attachment) image tags. This used, to work, and I'd bet it still does.

I don't understand what you mean in your edit.

I think you can set up a post so that it's all in tags, rather than images... can't remember how do do that though!

Images that are attached don't carry an extension.

So when I put the url inside an img tag, like this

[img]http://forums.cgsociety.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=87228[\img]

I get this;

http://forums.cgsociety.org/attachm...achmentid=87228
