"Chicken Little" May Herald More 3-D Digital Projection

Quote from Toonzone.net
"An article in the Los Angeles Times states that Chicken Little's digital 3-D version has been a real winner at the box-office (free registration required). The 3-D version of the movie earned more than double the amount of the normal version per screen on its opening weekend despite (or perhaps because of) an additional cost of $1 to $1.50 per ticket. The rest of the article deals with the competing technologies and rumored future digital 3-D releases. "

That's awesome. When I saw Chicken Little in 3D, I now can't imagine watching it in any other way.

With more people preferring DVDs and with more people buying large flat screen TVs, the movie theatre predicts a loss of business. I think it's good that they're finding new ways, and give people more reasons to go to the movie theatre.
