Querying the name of a skinCluster

Hey all, I am looking for a way to query the name of the skinCluster node that is deforming a selected piece of geometry. I have tried a few things, and there doesnt seem to be a good way to do this, I tried using connectionInfo, but it is giving me inconsistant results. And there doesnt seem to be any flags or commands in the skinPercent or skinCluster commands that do it.

Any ideas?

recursivly walk the inputs until you can walk no further (ie, inMesh attr of selected geometry). One of those nodes will be a skinCluster or it won't.....

Actually after I posted I started digging around a little more and discovered this command.

findRelatedSkinCluster (name);

It does exactly what I was asking for .

But thanks for the input.
