Move Across Polygon Surface.

Attached is a file i found where an object can freely be moved across a polygon surface. I need this same effect for some work i'm doing. However when i replace the "plane" object with different plane object that is rotated vertically the "sphere" object only moves half way across the "plane" object.

Got that?

Thanks to the author of this file, whoever that is.

This was because there were no offsets from the Sphere Z position for the Ray Points. I've added nulls for the Ray Points and a Hit Position null to convert the global Z offset for the Sphere to local.

Setting it up this way makes the setup portable under a master null. The expression will keep working correctly when the master null is moved or rotated.
