Character: Random girl

This is my first project im displaying. She isn't modeled for any particular reason. Mainly it's practice for me to see how much detail I can get with as few polys as possible. Currently she is 838 polys modeled in 3dsmax. Crit away, I need it.
Even with my eyes wide open I can't see a thing.

I like the shape, and the topology is good.
cant wait to see her as a finished, textured character!

The heads looks rather big, but this model is clearly of stylised preportions. You could definitely work the verts a bit more, the arm in particular is looking pretty cylindrical still. Shoes look nice. Keep us updated.

Thanks for the comments. Unfortunately texturing is where I run into big trouble. I've never been good with photoshop in that sense so this will be a good exercise for me.

As for the arm looking cylindrical, from those two angles its hard to see the oblong shape for the arm. I tried to avoid making her look too muscular. Her head is big cuz I am trying to achieve an anime style look with her. Now that I've had some good sleep and ate some breakfast it's back to modeling. Thanks again.

Minor update with the hair. I plan to not have the hair symmetrical as in these images. She is now 1018 polys with some optimizing of the hair to do. From the looks of it she will be around 1200 polys.
Even with my eyes wide open I can't see a thing.

I think she would benifit from some broader shoulders, they seem narrow. Hair is coming along nicely.
