Diabolo head

Here is my first post. There is a lot of mistakes and... a lot of mistakes ;-) About 2 days of work in 3DS MAX. 154 faces one 512x512 hand made texture. Next one is going to be... a lot better :-)

This is impressive for such a low-poly work. Very nice texture.

My only critique at the moment is that the orangish skin seems to protrude out onto his horns a bit too much.

Hahahaha this is a sweet model, I really like the pointiness of stuff due to the v low polys, it seems to work with the character rather than against, nice job. Not much I can add rather than "please try a body too?" I'd like to see how it worked out.

only crit is his forehead is stickin out way too far

Really great model.
But 2 critics : the 512*512 map is too big ... I think you could make the same with a 256*256 map.
And the horn are too thin.
But he look really great

hehe, the horns are small but stylish ;-). Thanks for the crits and advices, there is still much to learn for me. If i have enough courage maybe i'll do the body for him :-)

bigger horns would look awesome, but the small ones are okay.
texture work is excellent, and makes it look much higher poly than it is.
very nice work!
oh, one thing i see is that you should probably add another edge along the under side of his beard, so it won't be so straight forward.
lookin good though

Nice job, Good texturing indeed. I agree on the forehead tho. good for headbutting but it looks a bit off.
I wish I could grow a bear like that.
