WIP - LowPoly Marine

This is my first lowpoly model. I'm using Blender and loving it!!



wire + armature + seams




wire + armature + texture mapping



vertex groups setup



animation test + texture test (texture from www.retro-shinobi.com)

very nice...he is looking good...i spotted some streching of the texture on his ear...might want to fix that....other that that he is looking good.....keep it up

damn i might have to try this blender program...
it's free, isn't it? or really cheap... one or the other.
texture is lookin good, very nice start.
but i would wait until you finish the mesh and triangulate to start with the rigging.

very nice though,
keep the updates comin!

Thanx guys! About the rigging, in Blender you can modify the mesh after the rig.

Yeah, the textures i'll make my own, I just used one from retro-shinobi to see some color in the model.

Oh, and the reference i got from here: http://global.dice.se/work/qualifications/

I thought I recognized that character from somewhere! Well done, I only briefly glanced at that concept character from the Dice website, and after seeing your model, I instantly recognized it to be the same.
