Greetings

I'm going for a political and religious approach on this one. I can't imagine anything more spectacular than life. At the same time, I can't imagine anything more horrible than experiments with life. Creation of life is beautiful in nature, but in a lab it might subject to failures worse than could be described. I'm looking to try and describe it. I'm not sure if I want to go with a "Brave New World" angle, where life is engineered into a singularity, or if I want to show the beginnings of an unregulated life-creation process. Thoughts? And thanks!

I'll try to have a sketch up tonight. I'm hoping I can finish this challenge out with my schedule being like it is!

Edit: Well, I guess I wouldn't have to go with such an eerie subject matter. Perhaps a spectacle of the "Divine Lab" would be a better, more hopefilled and positive image.

Re-edit: Hmm, maybe life is too slow paced for this challenge. Maybe something more gripping that could bring the viewer into the chaos ...

Re-re-edit: So, I chose something with a little more drama and finality. I like this idea much better

Concept Sketch: 4 Point Perspective Concept

I had 15 minutes on my lunch break to come up with something, so I started with this 4 point perspective. The greater goal (when I get something other than a mouse to draw with ...) would be to have both the 3rd and 4th vanishing points on the image plane. So, basically, the viewer is on a slightly tall building, and is able to look down or up. Looking down reveals the destruction that has already taken place, and look up reveals the ultimate destruction that awaits (the extremely large, just outside out atmosphere asteroid).

I just realized that my mouse-skills are so poor that I had to label my scene to get the point across :( I hope my 3d work isn't that laughable.
