Concept Sketch: Final race

Just a begining...something like a race between Humans and Bots...So, what makes a picture spectacular ? I suppose : the storytelling, the point of view for a particular moment in this story, everything which bring a part of a story...and after that, well, the composition, but it's not enough it seems. Our eyes, today, and our mind are used to see spectacular images, in movies or games or comics.
I'm not sure that old rules of ancients are enough today. It seems we need to evolve...Easy words and hard task. I gonna ask to my little finger where is the way.

Hi Luter,

sounds like a lot of action and velocity. I´m looking forward to watch your thread.

I remember the great sketch in the GSO challenge > it was quite a pain to see this one unfinished in the end.

btw - why the transformation from goli to luter (at the risk of beeing the 1000th person who asks)

fahrija

I think this piece looks cool as is.
I m not sure what Im looling at but the abstract design is so strong that I wanna keep looking. Without any recognizable elements, this just screams speed.
I am looking forward to more.

you could make the race happen in a giant cage-like steel tube, littered with the bones of previous
contestants, where corpse-eating dinosaurs walked about...

or maybe there would be metal collecting robots that looked like dinosaurs that would take away
the scrap metal of the wrecked racing machines and then there would be bats that sucked the blood
of the dead drivers and that would be the reason there'd by only be dried husks and skeletal remains
of people and very small debris lying around in the tube .

Concept Sketch: Welcome to our new neighbours

The arrival of the demons. Hum...They are not especially agressives, but..arh..They don't think like us...And life changed since they are here. Men learn to assume their dreams..

My eyes go crazy! It´s hard to focus the content of the image cause of the motion blur. This is definetley a unique approach. If you go with this one it will be interesting for sure what happens.
