Bridging the gap in animation

Im not sure if there is a thread on this already?
But I was wondering, as an Animator/ Artist in cg. What are peoples opinions and thoughts on one doing games, tv and Features.

I feel each area thinks differently of each other. Do you feel one can move freely through all areas? Or do people feel that if you are a game animator, then things are too different for you to work in features?

It would be cool to see what CG people from the industry think or feel they know about each other
