Thumbs up A great DVD on integrating AE and ParticleIllusion

To everyone who works with After Effects and Particle Illusion I'd like to recommend particleIllusion Fusion volume 1 - a great learning resource created by Aharon Rabinowitz. You can find out more about the DVD at http://www.pillusionfusion.com/home.html

I already had experience integrating the two apps, but still found useful techniques, tips and tricks in virtually every tutorial. The DVD comes with QuickTime video tutorials (both high-quality and low-quality for slower machines), project files, and lecture trascripts in PDF format. The DVD design was very professional. I also really liked the humour sprinkled here and there to keep the tutorials from becoming too dry. The pace of instrucion is brisk, I had to pause a few times, because Aharon talks quickly. That's good, because you get more material than the length of the tutorials suggests.

The DVD sells for an intro price of $29.95 + shipping. Overall, well worth every penny. I personally look forward to volume 2 (which will follow up if there is enough interest in volume 1).

Update:
If anyone at PixelCorps is interested in seeing a sample of Aharon's teaching style, they can check out 2 video tutorials, found at the Wondertouch Website and Creative Cow:
