wanna create an ice-effect

ich wanna ceate a cut-effect, where the last pic of my first video begin to freeze (it should gets blue...) and then it should explode (like in the new James Bond trailer). And behind the first exploding video (the parts of the ice should fly again the camera) you can see the 2. video.
Do someone know how i can create such an effect with a plug in in after effects or lightwave 3d?!?!?!?

you can pull this off in After Effects, you can do the exploding in AE if you have the Production Bundle.

To make it blue apply the color balance effect and animate the blues by clicking on the stop watch moving the little thing in the timeline window and change the atibrutes. if you have PB you can apply the shatter effect to blow up the video showing the other behind it
