New Light Manager tool for Maya (MEL script)

Hello All,

I've started a thread here to see if I can get some feedback on a lighting tool I've written for Maya. I hope the mods don't mind the semi-double post but I'm aware that there are people who use this forum and don't visit the Lighting and Rendering area and vice-versa. If you could post your feedback in the Lighting and Rendering thread that would probably make everyone's live easier.

I hope you find it useful.

Many thanks,

Andrew

Thanks for the heads up and the script.
Can you save presets with this? That'd be cool.

Great script Andrew

Only thing for the moment is that is would make the default amount of lines in the "Set All Selected Lights'" scroll list larger. Two lines seems too cramped. Make it about 4 or 5. Functionality wise it seems great, although I have only used for a couple of mins, im sure Ill come up with a few more things.

OH. It doesn't seem to support dual monitors? When i update stats, the windows jumps back to the main screen. Would be great if the window stays put and doesn't jump back to the main monitor.

Intensity tops out at 100 as well. When using decay rates, i often use > 100. Should be unlimited value.

Very useful though.

There's an updated version of the script here. I think most of the issues that have been pointed out to me have been addressed. I may look at tweaking the layout to make it more compact so there maybe another release in a month or two. Thanks for the feedback.
