Drawing Edges

I'm using C4D R9.1 and I wanted to know if you can draw edges and then use like a "bridge" tool to fill in the poly's. With the create polygon tool, you are automatically making a polygon, but there's no option to just create vertices or edges.

There's no support for polylines, but you can draw points. Create an empty poly object, enter points mode, and use the "add point" tool. Ctrl + LMB to add points.

You can also draw a spline and copy its points to a poly object using the structure tab (edit copy, then paste) , and then use bridge or create poly.
All you have to do is become who you were before you became who you are.
