scaling objetcs

hello all
i couldnt figure out a way to scale objects selectively in VUE, in mean just parts of them,
like i would, say in MAX, where i'd select pairs of vertexes or rows of vertexes etc. and then drag to scale them ...
Can someone point me the right way, please

thanks in advance ....

I've been playing in Vue for years, and don't recall ever seeing that done. That sounds like a tool only for modeling apps, which Vue really isn't. Still, that could be useful... if anyone knows a way.

This is a classical modeller feature i would say. Vue is not one, it only makes nice images, from time to time even VERY nice ones.

Of course you always can selectively modify members of groups. Obviously i know - before anybody tells me that this is a stupid answer.
