a small Q about import of *.eps!!!

Hey all XSI-folk!!!

I was trying out the super-cool "convert curves to mesh" in XSI whith an eps-files created in Illustrator 10.0. Its for a logo animation....But for some reason there`s a box surrounding the actual *.eps when imported into XSI and I cant erase this new object..

Could this be an Illustrator-issue or is it a setting in XSI that needs to tweaked...

Well thanx a million if any can give me a short hint!!!!

Dunno why the box is there, but likely you can't erase it as its a subcurve and xsi doesn't have a delete subcurve yet.
But you can change your selection type to subcurves and use model>create>curve>extract from subcurves and then use those to get the curves you do want.
