Jeff Epp - Circus Auditions - Contortionist

My idea is a contortionist's tryout.

It will involve 2 characters, each one tries to impress the judge (won't be seen) and the winner receives a balloon bath or Thumbs up.

Not sure how I'll work out the timing seeing as how I'll have to contort my acting to fit the 300 frames.

For reference you have to check out the DVD of Cirque Du Soliel Allegria. The contortion act is insane.

dimension10;

Can I get the DVD at the local Rogers, Blockbuster or do I have to make a purchase? I'll check it out, however the acts that I'll be animating involve CG contortion, if that makes sense.

You'll see...

Storyboards coming soon.

Keep the puns coming...

Not sure, it may be pretty hard to come by. I got it off of amazon when I was doing research for my thesis project.

I posted part of the contortion act it's pretty long so this is just the end.

You need to be more flexible when searching for reference I work for the company that produced CDS, I will see if I can have anyone dig up some old footage.

It's sorenson 3, but I compressed it on tiger, I don't know if that messed it up

Yeah, I'm having a hard time opening it too. I'm guessing once Quicktime 7 for PC comes out it'd work.

I just recompressed it on my PC, and I have it seems to be working.
same link http://www.sternio.com/cgtalk/contort.mov

it may take a bit to load up. if it doesn't seem to come up after a while, right click and save it to your desktop.
