.max files into cinema 4d

I am looking into getting some models of london landmarks from Turbo Squid and the only format is max. I know cinema can't read these files so what is the best way to get them in with preferably little cost incurred. I am using Cinema4D 9.1 on a mac running 10.3.8. I do have virtual PC which can run PC apps if I am really desperate.

regards

Your best bet is to either A) get the free 30 day max demo or B) get someone with max to convert them for you.

A very sensible suggestion. There's got to be something max is good for.
