Ultimate Studio Lighting Setup

G'day all. I am looking to make a super nice studio lighting setup. I will be using 3dmax and vray to render some products with. Is anyone a photographer that can shed some light on what makes a super cool setup. Maybe post a scene and or diagram and what lighting settings seem to work for them the best. Here's an example I did not long ago. It only has 1 area light. Also I would like to include some white cards for nice reflective things. I also might give it a go in maxwell renderer, but for an animation for me it would take too long to render. 6cm square 300dpi.jpg
