Master and Servant 3D Entry: Oliver Hatton

Oliver Hatton has entered the Master and Servant 3D.

Challenge Page

Latest Update: Lighting: Well, go and find them then!

I'm getting a little lost differentiating between a few of the submission variants.
For example, I find the texturing and rendering and lighting submissions, in my work anyway, rely upon each other for clarity.
So, here is my lighting submission, but don't be too surprised if you look at my rendering submission and find it's not too dissimilar. Apologies too, if you're disappointed. : ]

Concept Sketch: Master&Servant sketch

Concept sketch for Master & Servant.
The dark blob behind the pointing woman is some kind of monster Troll at the beck and call of the bathing forest queen, or something along those lines.

Hello there,

Thanks very much.

Crying Horn: I think our concept images are not too dissimilar, but, more interestingly, your drawing is exactly an image from a dream I had a few months back, although there, the elky type animals were a monkey-owl and a pigeon, and in the ruined buildings were howling wolves. : ]

I'll get my coat.

Modeling: ''Go and find them''.

Here is my Master and Servant modelling submission.
Time really flies, doesn't it?

Without lights, and even textures, I think this image is a little confusing.

I wanted it to be busy, because I think it helps describe the mysterious
world deep within the magic forest.

Maybe the textured version will help clear things up...

I don't think the modelling is completed yet. Certainly there are mistakes that need fixing, but I think it's getting closer to what I had in mind.

Texturing: Master and Servant

Uncomplete textured version.

I still think there are some extra models needed too. Extra creatures, for example.
