Free Spirit, Jason Lynch (2D)

Title: Free Spirit
Name: Jason Lynch
Country: Barbados
Software: Photoshop

this first of all was inspired by one of AARON SIMS 3d renders ,the idea was to practie some skin texture and practice doing more under painting so my stuff looks less flat. The rain and background are NOT my focus ,plus they were an after thought.

this is cool! Il like it, I really do. Just one thing - you could do more details on the eye. This way it looks like an eye of some statue.
I like that skin texture you did. How did you do that?

wow, it looks rendered in 3d, fantastic lighting and the skin looks incredible. would love to see this expanded into a full scene.

hey thanks for the comments and input , as I said i refferd to one of ARRON SIMS 3d renders for the texure so you'll find it kinda looks similar with the veins and the cheek bone but mines very loose,i did it without much intention osf smoothness but just to figure out the procedure for getting that wrinkled look
as you can see i neglected the eye and ear , but it adds a nice creepy feel without looking to much like a creature

my aim is to create 2d images that are as good or better than 3d but without being blan and of course the blends and texture must be better

Very well done, it seems as though you have succeeded in your depth of field.
The creepy thing is that it looks just like my grandfather who passed away this last year.
(With the exception of the eye, ear and the hair... or lack thereof).
Good job.
